This course is for all those whose lived experiences and socialized interactions are inextricably shaped by their identities as a person of the Global Majority (Black, Brown, Asian, Arab, Indigenous, and Pasifika). You do not need to meet a certain blood quantum for this to be true.

This course asks you to draw from the well of your non-white ancestral knowledge — the wisdom, ways of knowing, and survival strategies passed down through lineages that exist outside of and in resistance to white capitalist supremacy. We will be using these ancestral resources to develop skills in self-knowing, critical thinking, communication, money stewardship, leadership, and organizing.

We invite you to ask yourself:

• Do you experience the world, and are you treated, as someone of the Global Majority?
• Can you access ancestral knowledge from non-white lineages — knowledge that has been passed down, that you're actively reclaiming, or that lives in your body and memory (e.g., knowing the names your ancestors called themselves, reclaiming languages, practicing traditional ways of relating to land or community)?
• How have your communities and lineages shaped your identity?
• Have you faced racialization or marginalization based on the non-white parts of your identity?

If you can answer yes to these questions, this space is for you.

If you are racialized as white / experience the safety and advantages of whiteness, this course will not serve your growth in the way our upcoming offering for white siblings will.

Dr. Joey Liu is a mixed-race person with Hakka & Irish ancestry and approaches this teaching work with nuance and deep consideration around what it means to exist in this world as a person with complex identities and ultimately as a person of the Global Majority.

This course is for those whose lived experiences are shaped by ancestral knowledge beyond white privilege. We intentionally create space to connect with and heal the wisdom passed down through non-white, non-colonizing ancestors.

Simone and Joey are actively reclaiming their lineages, sharing intimate stories and rituals that we believe will generate profound, collective transformation with ripple effects from within the Global Majority to everyone we share this planet with.

We have no plans to offer the course live again. We plan to make a self-study version for members of the Global Majority available after the conclusion of the live course that will include the course materials and replays.

 The last day to join the live version of the course is December 16.

The last day to enroll using the payment plan is November 17.

The self-study version of the course will be available to members of the Global Majority after December 16.

Yes, there will be a community forum space open during the live course. It will be archived at the end of the 5 weeks.

 This is designed to fit your real life. You could spend 30 minutes a day with the materials, or dive deep for a few hours on weekends — whatever works for you.

 All materials will be delivered in simple formats you can access from any device.

A 2 payment plan (2 payments of $230) will be available through November 16. After that, the program will be available with one payment only.
